i hate not having a late key yet. it really bites. it means i have to call campus security each night and sit around waiting until theyre done with their donuts and coffee and come over to let me in. sheesh. actually, theyre usually pretty speedy about it, i've never had to wait more than 3 or 4 minutes to be let in. but it took exactly 21 minutes tonight. i dont know how many seconds. frankly, i dont care. 21 minutes is long enough. but yeah, a late key would be nice. a little safer. no sitting around marion at 1 am.
oh, and i finally got the pins to bunk the beds today. i kind of ganked them. but i told missy (she's kind of important) while i was doing it, so i guess its okay. but i have to wait until joe's on campus again to bunk the beds. i reckon until then i'll just have a gigantic towel rack in the middle of my dorm room. it could function as a shoe rack as well, but then i'd have to go through the trouble of putting all those shoes away again...and i'm a little too lazy to do that.
im still not unpacked. maybe i should do a little of that instead of this.
deng it! i cant access my aol account! this bites! it keeps saying its the wrong password...but it cant be, its programmed in, and its always worked before. and somehow getting it emailed to another account wont work. grrrrr. i'm not very impressed with today's antics and shenanigans.
but hey! yesterday there was actually an update on www.homestarrunner.com ! how freakin cool is that! we've gone a couple weeks without an update worth mentioning. and i dont count mr. shmallow as worth mentioning. even though i just mentioned it. i mentioned it in case theres people out there who wouldve pointed out the unmentionable update that i would've have mentioned except to save the trouble of readers pointing out it wasnt mentioned. so i mentioned it, okay? just leave me alone.
last count, i received 13 mosquito bites on sunday evening. and its the big yucky painful kind. but i figure if i was going to get west nile virus i already woulda. too many mosquitos in blackford county. its just not safe. or healthy.
i'm reading "Rachel's Tears" by Beth Nimmo and Darrell Scott. its a very good book. i'm whipping through it. yesterday i read the book written by Cassie Bernall's mom. joe bought them both for me yesterday during our Fun-Filled Trip to Ft. Wayne (fun, yes, despite the fact that EVEN THOUGH WE WERE ON TIME pt had already DITCHED us. grrrr. punctuality is good to a point, but when dealing with a large group of people, we need to compensate for the fact that others aren't as punctual as ourselves. or they are, but *crap* happens, and people can be late. waiting 5 minutes AT LEAST wouldn't hurt us, and would prevent a lot of hurt feelings and bad moods).
okay i'm out. done. hasta la taco.
