this past week i received a thank-you card from the southworths (josiah and karissa). i was pretty stoked to be getting mail that wasn't junk, catalogs, or bills.
it was a thank-you card.
i felt honored.
and then i read it:
"Suzin,
Thank ye for ye gift. It shall be forever more appreciated. Thank ye for also attending the ceremonial occassion. We were filled with gladness when you came. Thank ye,
May God blesseth ye,
Josiah & Karissa Southworth"
after smothering my giggles (i was sitting in the car about to leave for work and ghetto people were walking by, i didn't want them to thinketh me psycho), i decided it was quite obvious that karissa put josiah in charge of writing thank-you notes for the wedding presents and whatnot.
you silly kids.
then josiah, karissa, and heather came and visited me at work (!!!! i was pleased and pleasantly surprised!) and josiah confirmed my suspicions. karissa hadn't even known what was in the thing. she was amused to hear of it.
