i felt like i should blog again, so here i is. 

i'm FINALLY starting to plan my wedding, and i'm getting overwhelmed!  this whole finding a venue thing is really freaking me out -- i should've already done that i guess, i'm trying to find one within budget, and no one allows you to use your own caterer, everyone has their own exclusive caterer and some places require some sort of minimum catering order if you reserve a space on a saturday night.  and of course, its all out of my budget.  grrrrrr!  does anyone have a liquor license and a huge backyard?

caryn and i have narrowed down some bridesmaids dresses, i've got colors picked out (red (david's bridal "apple") with navy accents), a theme (bookish), a pastor (pastor joe, i just have to set up 4 premarital counseling sessions), a photographer (anna pidcoe!), eight bridesmaids, and eight groomsmen.  yay!
