update'd

hmm, what have i done in the past few days?

i had my first "manager class" on tuesday. michael has liz and i go sit in the garden room with him and we go over chapters/lessons for shift leader management. it's not so bad, except michael is what one could refer to as a "fast talker." liz is another 20-something that is going into management. right now there's also amy pritchard, whom i would peg at being late 20's-early 30's (married and has two kids). she's in her own class. also jon akers, who's an old-timer that recently returned (he's probly 35ish and worked at PH way-back-when) is going into management but he's further along than the rest of us (trained in more areas) and gets his own class as well. we all got spiffy expensive leather binders with all our lessons in them. they came with digital clocks. if i wanted to know the time in hong kong, all i would have to do is press a few buttons and voila! hong konged! but i dont care about hong kong, really. we also got two itty bitty books, one on time management and another called the go-getter, and we have to read those this week. fun stuff, i'm telling you. but i feel like i'm doing something worthwhile...or productive, at least. getting somewhere with life. trying to better my situation. stop living paycheck to paycheck.

i just found out my credit line has been extended to $5,500. sooo exciting.

i've spent a lot of time with scott...;). that's always funnage. ooooh. incidently, today (friday) was our one-month anniversary. but neither of us is the anniversary caring type. he says 6 months and one year type deals matter. i'm not even sure i really care about celebrating those. we'll see. i've spent more time with his family...little brother, David (16) and his mom. his step-dad had to move back to california and is looking for a job out there. his mom and maybe brother will move out there this summer. maybe. not sure yet. scott says he plans on staying here. it's me. i know.

he's looking for another job...kroger's, marsh, or target. this makes me saddish. *sigh*

i bought a planner yesterday. i always like getting new office supplies. they make me want to be productive.

the cat is still in heat. while hanging out with kevin and scott the other night it became known that kevin's family possesses a gray male cat known as "Gandolf." Gandolf is not fixed. Gandolf stalks Scott when he walks home from Kevin's house late at night and spooks him. so.........if i wanted, Gandolf and Jezebel could ..."hook up." that would be a pizza hut funtime, breeding the cat amy gave me with one of kevin's cats. that just gives me the giggles. oh, kittens. i probably won't, though. i don't know what i would do with kittens.

i have to be at work tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m. for an all-employee meeting. there's a new pizza coming out on special for february...the "cheesy bites" pizza. all i can say is that i already hate it. it's going to SUCK to have to make that thing. rrrrr. it's very time-consuming. as a pizza i suppose it's okay, but as the person that makes the pizza it's pure insanity. we're also going to discuss uniforms, server cleanups, and driver cleanups. that means everyone else must suck at those things, ha ha. i'm good.

julia's already got her new apartment and started moving things in today. i think she's staying there tonight, or at her parent's. they're going to move her furniture tomorrow -- the bed, dresser, desk, etc. so i guess in the next couple of days christy can start moving in! it's rather crazy how fast this has happened! ahhhh!

no more bentley!!!!!!!!!! i'm sorry. now i feel bad. oh, bentley.

Under no circumstances will the puppycat be allowed to get near me this weekend. I forgot it had issues.

Since Julia's moving out, does this mean Bentley is divorcing you? I'm so sad! We had some good times together.

Ya know, I considered offering to bring my boy Roger over to take care of your cat's... problem, but I thought it that would sound rather creepy. Still does, really.

hahaha, that is kind of creepy. i can just imagine you holding Roger and leering at the computer screen as you type your lures into the comment box.

mua ha ha.

you leer'd.

See, this is the sort of response I was hoping to avoid.

And I haven't been leering any more than usual. I haven't noticed anyway--I think I've just been looking normally.
