er...dinner party?
i want to have one. i want dignal's little christmukkah (shouldn't it be christmakwanzukkah?) get-togeth to be (ha, get-togeth. so cali.) something that happens more than that one time. heck, i'm all for a monthly dinner party.
with real live cooking.
and....and wine.
i'm imagining it...gourmet cooking, sparkling dinner conversation (assuming we're mature enough to handle it), and everyone ending up in the living room in front of a ROARING fire (mere, can you snag us some jet fuel?). perhaps there will be a game or two, depending on what the masses desire. but i think i'd prefer a foreign film or two, or maybe some background music and gossip. if the party is small enough, it could even end up with a little light reading. i dunno.
but yes, i'm hankering to have a dinner party.
because frankly, it doesn't feel like home without you guys.

I'm down. Except for one thing: if ever I do try wine, it shall be in proper context... a European terrace, of course.
