sarah and i went to the fisher's blockbuster last night, hoping to score a copy of "night at the roxbury." unfortunately, it was checked out. we then decided to settle for "anchorman."
at first we had some trouble finding the movie. why?
BECAUSE BLOCKBUSTER IS JEWISH.
"anchorman," being still considered a new release, should've been found to our left in the store. we headed over to the left side and found ourselves amidst the "R's". not cool. i was extremely confused. we then made our way across the store to the right side, and found the A's.
i believe every other video store i've ever been in has alphabetized from left to right, the way most languages are read. this is the first video store that i've seen alphabetize from right to left, the way the hebrew language is read.
weird.
