bad news

i got some bad news from my mom tonight.

she recently had surgery to fix some things (cosmetically, i think) from her breast cancer surgery years ago. they ran some tests and today called her to inform her that she had cancerous cells in her other breast. it's very very very early stages--caught even earlier than last time. she doesn't know how they're going to fix it yet. she has an appointment on thursday, i believe.
