seeing as how my schedule this week was a wee bit on the slim side (31 hours as opposed to my general 37-38), i found myself with a free saturday evening and three voicemails in debt to my long-time pal, christy sallee. i rang her up and suggested we socialize and she was delighted to accept my request.
she came over, got the grand tour, and proceeded to play with/antagonize the kitten (reminded me of a four-year-old redheaded girl--cute as can be--who was over here recently and paraded around with the cat, grasping Jezebel by the kitty-armpits chanting, "KITTY KITTY KITTY KITTY KITTY" ad naseum). we caught up on all our gossip, looked at her pictures from graduation and her mission trip...we shared some memories and laughs.
dang it, i miss everyone. all my stupid friends that are stupid gone and won't come stupid back. dorks.
so now i'm sitting up all night (julia's gone, so i'm acting eccentric) and watching old movies on TCM. i just finished pride and prejudice. dude. mr. darcy. DUDE.
enough chit-chat. i have old movies and books to deal with.

How I miss thee... I'm coming back to you soon... I'm coming back until January. We can be adults with jobs and socialize on a certain evening each week.
dude, my visa is one of those get-air-miles-for-spending-money thingys and i TOTALLY have 3,116 right now. (3000 for bonus signup). and the ooooonly place i can think of to fly is to YOU. or to save up miles and go to all sorts of exotic places for my future honeymoon. but right now, you're the man.
well too bad i work 46 hour weeks. so there. i'm rich.....well....not really. but still...
