well, the year i was boycotting french in high school i took hebrew. and aced it--still don't know why.
i think it was because the whole time i felt like it was a made-up code for writing notes to my friends.
plus i figured...the bible...some originally written in hebrew.....could be useful...........to study......in that language.............yeah right. i'm never going to do that. who'm i kidding?
well it is a simple language to learn. all those 3 letter roots. i suppose it could be useful to study the bible...good point. but not to learn to get anywhere in the "real" world. i think a total of 7 million people speak it worldwide.
on the other hand, you COULD read my novel in hebrew when it comes out next year. that could be a goal *wink*
