i got off work wicked early today. i was only there an hour. but it was "aight" with me. for the most part. it was me or david roos, and i decided i could go ahead and unload my carload o' stuff at dads (i'm beginning the move out early this year, being an independent woman and all). so i did. saw caryn again. she seemed upsetish. so i left her alone.
its spring break in carmel, indiana. nick (caryn's manly friend) is in gulf shores right now without her, but as consolation she's been left behind with his favorite pillow and comforter and his dog. Tails lives with the Crevistons for the week.
caryn said the other night she missed nick a lot so she was cuddling up in his blanket (it smelled just like him) and Tails came up and wriggled in there too so they were cuddling together in nick smell. i just.......yeah. oh, you kids.
but yeah. caryn was on the phone in her room and i need to get my AAA card and new insurance card from her, so instead of sitting around vegging and eating triscuits (i did that later), i decided me and Tails was going on a walk.
so we did.
and i think we stopped at about 8 different mailboxes to mark our turditory. okay, let me rephrase that. we both stopped, yes, but only one of us poo'd. and i think Tails is getting the gold star for the day on that one.
it was nice. warm, sunny, i was wearing flip flops and no sweatshirt and the best jeans ever. it was imperative that i walk a dog. and God in His ultimate sovereignty provided me with Caryn's B-Fry's dog. joy.
in other news about Caryn (jon--sit up and take notice):
Carmel High School's "Houndstock" (need i explain? or is it self-explanatory? stupid people, you alls can ask in a comment) will be Saturday, April 23. Caryn and Nick tried out (Nick tried out with 3 different bands and i think all 3 got in) and are in. so they'll be singing stuff from their "Beautiful Lies" project (i assume). and here's the great part--> there will be a performance of "Gangsta's Paradise" complete with background choir (remember the song? there's a background choir)...wearing choir robes borrowed from church.
i don't know about you guys, but i'm pretty much definately going to be there.
oh, and hardcore kids (now's where they sit up and take notice)(does josh weesner read this?)--> caryn says Haste the Day showed up to Houndstock tryouts, so they'll probably be there. freak out and die.

Of course Haste the Day has to be there! They have to come see their baby band TRAUMA PROJECT. You will understand if you see them. They are like mini haste the day. I don't think they are very talented except for the drummer. And Wes Mccoy is their singer on occasion, due to the fact that Wes goes to college in Scotland. HE is pretty much famous by now at Carmel High School. At least with all the women. It is annoying. So whenever Wes, or Haste the Day come back to school everyone FREAKS out. cept fo me. Cause im a hardass.
