psalms

i just finished reading the entire book of psalms and giving each one a "title" or "brief summary." if youre feeling really biblical, you can check it out.

and then read the psalms themselves, its really awesome. i've never enjoyed that book so much.

1. Blessed are the righteous, but the wicked shall be punished.

2. God is mightier than any nation standing against Him.

3. God protects and sustains us even during times of trouble.

4. God hears our calls; during times of stress search your heart and do not act in anger.

5. God gives favor to the righteous, the wicked will not prosper.

6. The Lord is merciful and gives deliverance.

7. Those who are wicked get their evil returned to them, and God judges everyone accordingly.

8. God’s name is majestic over all the heavens and earth and God is worthy of our praise.

9. God’s accomplishments are many and mighty and He is worthy of our praise.

10. A cry out to God not to ignore or forget the evil deeds of the wicked, and to rescue the oppressed righteous ones.

11. God sees all that is done, and He is a place of refuge.

12. A call to God to keep the weak safe from the oppression of the wicked.

13. A question of how long the evil of this world must be endured, and an expression of trust in the love of God.

14. Fools turn their backs on God and do not learn from their mistakes but instead are evil; the world is full of people who ignore the Lord.
