first day of insanity...

yeah, so today was the first day of classes...er, yesterday i mean, seeing as how i'm a lil late for postage. owell. get over yourselves. but yeah i was hardcore, i had 4 classes.

my youth classes are gonna rock! comm with youth at 9:25, that was fun...there was a funeral going on during it today....:/.....not cool, but funny music. sorry to all those dead people out there, didnt mean disrespect....

and then my night class is youth evangelism and discipleship with prof alcock....its freaking nuts! aw jeese. we had some fabulous "quotes of the day"~~

*"I thought since all the other religion profs had fun names ("Coach"-Dr. Drury, "Umfumdisi" Jim Lo...), I needed a fun name too. Charlie wasn't enough, so I think maybe you guys should call me Profizzle."
*"Let's put it this way...if we were both high, we'd have a great conversation!" ~Profizzle on Dr. Schenck being such a scholar.
*"I think we should party every chance we get!"

and one from this morning's class:
*"My favorite world changer is Little Debbie." ~Blake Estep, on how snack cakes changed his world.

yeah, so even though tuesdays and thursdays are going to be hardcore intense, they'll still probably get away with being a little bit fun.

but HEY. what the heck is up with telling freaking 800 freshmen they could come here?!!?!?!?!?!??!?!!? i mean, its great and all, more power to them, but how does the administration expect the rest of the student body to get time to duck in baldwin for a meal between classes when the lines are stretching all the way past the mailboxes? yeah, i know usually the first week or so is a tad bit crazy, but STILL. its just wrong. grrrr. my freshmen class was at about 600, and they thought THAT was too many. yeah, lets tack on 200 more. makes sense. hope they plan on adding yet another extension to baldwin. we've got "applesbees" and "fazolis"....now we need pizza king or steak and shake or something. and some more food lines. and more SPACE for the food lines. but yeah. wildcat was pure insanity as well. the only option i had that wouldnt take more than 20 minutes of waiting was plain hamburgers, coz thats all that was made and didnt have lines stretching to the stage outside. ARG.

thats all for today, folks. lata.
