getting out of dodge city

so joe called me up today and asked if i wanted to go watch blackford's (his old high school) varsity basketball game so i was like, sure, im bored and he's paying....so after mere, jo the girl, and i finished our papa johns i went on over, then rode over to the school with joe and his mom. so man did they get schooled like none other. apparantly the week before blackford beat some ft. wayne school by 30 pts....well tonight against jay county blackford lost 34-70. talk about sad and a half. well, there was one fun moment. between 3rd and 4th quarters the bhs cheerleaders came out and did some cheery pyramid stuff, and while they were still yelling and pyramidding, the players were done talking and were heading back on the court...the tall bald ref (who wouldnt call any fouls against jay county) throws the ball to a player and blows his whistle, officially starting the game back up (since he's the official and all). dude, the cheerleaders were still in the middle of the court, with 3 girls up in the air standing on other's shoulders, yelling and leading the student section in some chant. WHAT THE HECK. they were YELLING. i just dont understand how he couldve missed them. so the player he'd thrown the ball at looks all confused and walks back and hands him the ball again, since they obviously cant play under such conditions. everyone was laughing and booing. it was a small riot. ;)

then we were on our way back to joe's but he ran into some friends from back in the day and they were like, hey lets go to pizza king so we went and sat there for awhile and i heard all about how they used to vandalize stuff in hartford city and video tape it (now how dumb can you be? like something on real tv..."worlds dumbest criminals, the cops got the evidence from their own videotape). and then how they got in trouble when they got caught...and then how they got in trouble when someone's mom found the videotape. losers.

and then we went back to joe's finally, and stood around talking, and then sat around talking, and then joe decides we need to watch harry potter (he's on some crusade to make me like this whole montage of harryistic life, i have no clue why, its not like he's obsessed with this harry potter crap), and when its over its like 12:30 am and he turns it to TLC and i sit there with him and his mom talking about and watching trading spaces. and all the other shows like it--changing rooms, while you were out, rock your house (?)...yeah. THEN joe finally "walks me to my car" which turns into me sitting in the car while it warms up and he scrapes the windows, then he plays with the defrost until the windows arent foggy, then i made him program the clock and stuff (just got a new battery so everything got snafoo'd) and then we talked some and he kissed me goodnight and i drove away. so i finally got back around 2:30 and had to drive aroudn campus looking for a fricken parking spot. its a weekend, there shouldnt be this many cars. deng it.

and here i am. i dont think im gonna make it to church tomorrow. but i do have to get up to go home for joel and dave's eagle scout ceremony. joel and dave rock. i wish joe was an eagle scout. that would be such a turn-on. gosh.

haha, i peed in the toilet at joe's house for the first time! boo-yah grandma!
